FOX23 News at 9 p.m

MARBLE HILL, Mo., (KBSI) — A boil water order has been issued for customers served by the Marble Hill South Public Water System after fecal coliform/E. coli was detected in the water supply.

The notice was issued March 11 for the system serving residents in Bollinger County.

Officials say the boil water order is in place due to the presence of fecal coliform/E. coli, which can indicate possible contamination in the water system.

Residents are advised to boil water before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth or preparing food until the order is lifted.
