CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Drivers in parts of southeast Missouri and western Kentucky may experience traffic delays due to upcoming road and bridge work.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Business Route 67 in Poplar Bluff will be reduced to one lane beginning Friday, March 29. Crews will perform overnight pavement repairs between Route M and West Pine Street. No completion date has been announced.

In nearby Miner, westbound lanes on Route AA over U.S. Route 60 will be closed as crews install steel deck panels for a new overpass. Work is scheduled from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. from March 30 through April 1.

In Paducah, CN Railway will close the rail bridge on 32nd Street between Morris Avenue and Harrison Street. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said work will take place from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 18.

Officials advise drivers to plan ahead and expect delays in these areas.
