McCracken County Schools ranked among Kentucky’s top districts in 2026 Niche report

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — McCracken County Public Schools has been recognized among the top school districts in Kentucky in the 2026 rankings released by Niche.
According to the rankings, the district was named:
- No. 2 Best Places to Teach in Kentucky
- No. 4 Best School Districts in Kentucky
- No. 4 Districts with the Best Teachers in Kentucky
Niche evaluates schools and communities nationwide using public data, academic performance metrics and reviews from students and parents.
“These rankings reflect the incredible work happening in our classrooms every day,” Superintendent Josh Hunt said. “Our teachers, staff, students and families all play a role in creating an environment where students can succeed.”
The rankings consider factors including teacher quality, academic outcomes, graduation rates, college readiness and community feedback.
District officials said McCracken County Schools will continue focusing on expanding educational opportunities, including career and technical education programs, while supporting teachers and student success.
