Multi-county pursuit ends in Calloway County with Tennessee driver arrested

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A police pursuit that began in Henry County, Tennessee, ended in Calloway County on March 18 with one person in custody.
Authorities said the pursuit entered Calloway County around 6 p.m. near Hazel. Calloway County deputies took over the chase as it continued through Murray and onto Highway 121 North.
Deputies deployed spike strips just over the Graves County line, successfully deflating the vehicle’s front tires. The vehicle came to a stop without any serious injuries reported.
The driver, identified as 78-year-old Harry T. Moody of Paris, Tennessee, was taken into custody and transported to the Calloway County Jail.
Moody is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment and multiple traffic offenses.
