Missing juvenile found safe after large emergency response in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A missing juvenile was found safe Wednesday morning following a large emergency response in Marshall County, according to the sheriff’s office.

First responders were dispatched just before 11 a.m. March 25 to the area of Halbrook Lane off Big Bear Highway, near Kentucky Lake, after a report of a missing child.

Authorities said the juvenile was located a short distance from her home and safely returned to her family.

Multiple agencies responded, including Marshall County Emergency Management, the Marshall County Rescue Squad, Marshall County EMS and the East Marshall Fire Department.

Officials also thanked community members in the area for their assistance.
