Nurse practitioner joins Cape Neurosurgical Associates in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Saint Francis Healthcare System has announced the addition of Stasha Tubbs, a family nurse practitioner, to Cape Neurosurgical Associates.

Tubbs, who graduated from Arkansas State University in 2025, is board certified by the America

n Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She will provide care for patients with brain and spinal disorders.

Officials said Tubbs is focused on improving patient quality of life and health outcomes.

Cape Neurosurgical Associates offers diagnosis and surgical treatment for a range of conditions affecting the brain, spine and nervous system, serving patients across southeast Missouri.

Saint Francis Healthcare System, founded in 1875, operates Saint Francis Medical Center, a 306-bed hospital, and employs nearly 3,000 people across multiple communities. The system provides services including cancer care, trauma and emergency services, neonatal care, cardiovascular care and orthopedics.
