PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — McCracken County Public Schools has named Lori Hyde as the next principal of Lone Oak Intermediate School, effective for the 2026-27 school year.
Hyde has served as principal of Reidland Middle School since 2022 and has 19 years of experience in the district. She has previously worked as a teacher at Reidland Elementary, Lone Oak Elementary, Lone Oak Middle and Lone Oak Intermediate schools.
Superintendent Josh Hunt said Hyde’s experience and leadership make her a strong choice for the role.
Hyde holds multiple degrees from Murray State University, including a master’s degree in literacy and a Rank I in education administration.
“I am honored and excited to serve as principal of Lone Oak Intermediate,” Hyde said in a statement.
The leadership change comes as current Lone Oak Intermediate principal Tim Bundren has been named principal of Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary School.
District officials said they look forward to Hyde’s continued leadership in her new role.
