Cave-In-Rock Ferry closes due to high winds

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The Cave-In-Rock Ferry shut down Tuesday morning due to high winds.

The ferry closed at about 11:20 a.m., according to officials. There is no estimated time for reopening.

Officials said updates on when service will resume will be posted on the ferry’s Facebook page.

The Cave-In-Rock Ferry connects Kentucky 91 and Illinois Route 1 across the Ohio River between Crittenden County, Kentucky, and Hardin County, Illinois.
