Cave-In-Rock Ferry reopens after wind-related closure

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The Cave-In-Rock Ferry has reopened after a temporary closure caused by high winds.
The ferry connects Kentucky 91 and Illinois Route 1 across the Ohio River between Crittenden County, Kentucky, and Hardin County, Illinois.
Officials said the ferry operates daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The last trip departs from the Illinois side at 9:40 p.m., and from the Kentucky side at 9:50 p.m.
