Fire destroys Campbell mechanic shop

CAMPBELL, Mo. (KBSI) — A business in Campbell was destroyed in an early morning fire Tuesday.

Fire crews responded around 4:30 a.m. to a mechanic shop located at the corner of Elm and Grand Avenue after reports of an explosion and heavy smoke coming from the building.

Officials say no injuries were reported, but the building was considered a total loss.

The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the scene and determined the cause of the fire is undetermined due to the extent of the damage.
