Crittenden County sheriff thanks agencies, community for support after shooting

MARION, Ky. (KBSI) — Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office officials are thanking neighboring agencies and the community for their support following a shooting earlier this week.

Sheriff Evan Head said surrounding counties, along with state and local law enforcement agencies, provided immediate assistance, helping maintain coverage across the county and at local schools.

Officials said the agencies responded without hesitation, offering critical support during the ongoing situation.

The sheriff’s office also expressed appreciation to Crittenden County residents for their prayers and encouragement.

Authorities said the support has been deeply felt, adding that deputies and partner agencies remain committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
