FREDERICKTOWN, Mo., (KBSI) — City officials are warning residents of a possible power outage Wednesday as repairs are made to transmission line poles serving the area.
According to the City of Fredericktown, Ameren is working to repair a damaged pole near a substation that delivers power to the city.
While Fredericktown does not purchase electricity directly from Ameren, officials said the city relies on the company’s transmission lines. If the substation must be shut down to complete repairs, residents could temporarily lose power.
Officials said the duration of any potential outage is unknown.
