Graveside service set to honor Dillard Howery in Paducah

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI)— McCracken County Coroner’s Office is inviting the public to attend a graveside service honoring Dillard Howery.

The service is scheduled for 10 a.m. April 15 at Mount Kenton Cemetery and will include full military honors recognizing Howery’s service in the U.S. Navy.

Officials said the service is being coordinated in partnership with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department to ensure Howery is laid to rest with dignity.

Several local organizations, including Milner & Orr Funeral Home, Wilbert Vault Company, Mount Kenton Cemetery and J.W. Reynolds Monument Company, assisted in organizing the service.

Coroner Amanda Melton said the event is intended to honor Howery’s life and bring the community together in remembrance.

Officials encouraged community members to attend and pay their respects.
