Memorial bench dedication set for fallen Sikeston officer Henry Franklin

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — City of Sikeston will hold a memorial bench dedication Saturday in honor of fallen Department of Public Safety Officer Henry Franklin.

The ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. April 11 at Veterans Park at the corner of Campanella and Lynn streets.

Officials said the bench will serve as a place for reflection and remembrance. The event will include a tribute, a resolution from Sen. Jamie Burger and patriotic music.
