19 new troopers join Missouri State Highway Patrol after academy graduation

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Missouri State Highway Patrol graduated 19 new troopers Friday from its Law Enforcement Academy.
The 125th Recruit Class began training Jan. 5 and completed the 15-week program before graduating during a ceremony held at the academy. The new troopers are scheduled to report to their assigned troops April 27.
Mike Kehoe delivered the keynote address, and Michael A. Turner addressed the class. Kelly Broniec administered the oath of office.
Several awards were presented during the ceremony. Keaton D. Siebenaler received the Physical Fitness Award and the Superintendent’s Award. James Q. Chapman received the Firearms Award, and Zachary K. Bridges received the Academic Award.
The newly commissioned troopers have been assigned to patrol zones across the state, including areas in southeast Missouri such as Stoddard, Butler, Ripley and Dunklin counties.
