Three arrested after drug, firearm seizure in Dunklin County

DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Three people were arrested following a federal warrant investigation that led to the discovery of drugs and firearms, according to the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the arrest happened around 11:48 a.m. April 8 with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, Missouri State Highway Patrol, SEMO Drug Task Force and the Malden Department of Public Safety.
Officials said probable cause was established during the arrest, leading to a search warrant. Investigators reported finding about 1 ounce of suspected methamphetamine, suspected LSD and two illegally possessed firearms.
Three individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Dunklin County Justice Center, authorities said.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are possible. The charges are allegations, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
