Princeton man arrested on multiple charges following grand jury indictment

LYON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Princeton man was arrested on an indictment warrant stemming from a February incident, according to authorities.

Sheriff Brent White said Thomas J. Prevatte, 46, was taken into custody April 9 following charges issued by a Lyon County grand jury.

Prevatte faces multiple charges, including theft, trafficking in a controlled substance involving more than 2 grams of methamphetamine, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and operating a vehicle under the influence, along with several traffic-related offenses.

He is also charged as a persistent felony offender.

Prevatte was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.

The charges are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
