MoDOT expects nearly 1,000 work zones across Missouri in 2026

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Missouri Department of Transportation said nearly 1,000 work zones are expected across the state during the 2026 construction season.

Transportation officials are urging drivers to use caution in work zones and follow safety guidelines to protect both road workers and motorists.
