CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) — Several road closures are scheduled across southeast Missouri and western Kentucky as crews perform maintenance and inspection work.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning a temporary closure of the KY 1943 bridge at mile point 2.05 over Crab Creek in Lyon County on Friday, April 24, for an inspection.
The closure is along KY 1943 between KY 295 and KY 373, northwest of Eddyville. Work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting. Motorists are asked to self-detour.
In Bollinger County, Missouri, Route H will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
The closure is between Route 34 and County Road 816. Work is scheduled for Monday, April 27, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.
In Perry County, Missouri, Route Y will be closed as crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
The closure is between County Road 451 and Northanger Lane near Altenburg. Work is scheduled for Monday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.
