Tunes at Twilight concert series to return May 8 in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Old Town Cape Inc. will kick off its Tunes at Twilight concert series for the 2026 season on Friday, May 8, at Ivers Square.
The free outdoor concert begins at 7 p.m. and will feature performances at the gazebo and City Hall grounds within walking distance of downtown businesses.
Organizers said the series will include weekly food vendors, along with free face painting and henna tattoos offered on select dates.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Tunes at Twilight will run as a spring and fall series, with performances scheduled weekly.
In case of inclement weather, concerts will move to Gospel Life Church, 817 Broadway St. Updates will be posted on Old Town Cape’s Facebook page.

- May 8 — Hudson & The Hoodoo Cats
- May 15 — Hot Club of St. Louis
- May 22 — Devin C. Williams
- May 29 — Kristin Kearns
- June 5 — Mark Stoffel & Shad Cobb
- June 12 — Dennis Stroughmatt
The fall series includes:
- Aug. 7 — Kasey Lee Rogers
- Aug. 14 — David Grier
- Aug. 21 — Taylor Streiff Trio with Neil Salsich of The Mighty Pines
- Aug. 28 — Swamp Tigers
- Sept. 4 — Andy Tanas
- Sept. 11 — Chicago Farmer
