Storm damage reported at two Missouri correctional centers

MISSOURI (KBSI) — Two Missouri Department of Corrections facilities sustained damage during overnight storms, officials said.

The affected facilities are Farmington Correctional Center in Farmington and Moberly Correctional Center in Moberly.

Authorities said no injuries were reported and all staff and incarcerated individuals are safe.

Both facilities remain operational, though movement has been modified while damage assessments continue.
