Tree damage on Terrie Hill Road likely caused by lightning strike in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Residents along Terrie Hill Road woke up Monday morning to storm damage after a tree was likely struck by lightning.

Causing large branches and debris blocking access to the road.

Crews are still working to remove the damaged tree from the roadway.
