Cape Girardeau fire stations to be lit red in honor of fallen firefighters

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Fire Department is participating in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s annual “Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters” campaign.
As part of the effort, local fire stations will be illuminated in red to honor firefighters who died in the line of duty.
Officials said the display serves as a symbol of remembrance and unity, recognizing the sacrifices made by firefighters across the country.
