Emergency officials provide weather radios to campground

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) — Calloway County Emergency Management is partnering with the governor’s office and Kentucky Emergency Management to provide weather alert radios to area campgrounds.

Officials said the effort is aimed at helping campers receive timely warnings during severe weather and improve safety.

Emergency management leaders encouraged residents and visitors to remain weather aware and practice outdoor safety.
