Kids Day America event set for May 16 in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) — A family-focused health and safety event will be held May 16 at the Cape County Public Health Center.

The “Kids Day America” event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to the public, rain or shine.

Organizers said the event will include free bike safety resources, fire and safety information, car seat inspections and spinal and scoliosis screenings.

Educational activities and prize drawings will also be available.

The event will benefit Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri.
