Two injured in side-by-side crash in Livingston County

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Two teenagers were injured Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash involving a side-by-side in the Burna area, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
First responders were dispatched around 10 a.m. to Maxfield Road. A preliminary investigation found the vehicle, driven by Kobe Lewis, 18, of West Paducah, and occupied by Parker Mansfield, 18, of West Paducah, left the roadway and overturned multiple times.
Mansfield sustained incapacitating injuries and was airlifted to Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Lewis suffered non-incapacitating injuries and was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Paducah.
The crash remains under investigation by Deputy Zackary Dunigan.
Agencies assisting at the scene included the Burna Fire Department, Livingston County EMS and Air Evac Lifeteam 120.
