CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Route 153 in Stoddard County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.

Route FF in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as construction crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Route H to Route 51 near Marble Hill, Missouri.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an upcoming traffic shift on Interstate 24 in Lyon County beginning Friday, May 1, weather permitting, as part of the ongoing work zone near Exit 45 (KY 293).
Traffic will remain reduced to one lane in each direction between mile points 45.1 and 50. Starting late Friday, traffic is expected to shift to a head-to-head configuration in the eastbound lanes using a newly constructed crossover.
A temporary barrier wall has been installed along the center of the eastbound lanes to safely accommodate two-way traffic. This change will allow crews to close the westbound lanes for full-depth paving.
Motorists should be alert for the new traffic pattern, follow posted signage, and use caution in the work zone. A reduced speed limit of 55 mph remains in effect.
This work is part of a larger 10-mile asphalt rehab project extending from mile point 45.1 in Lyon County to mile point 55.4 near Exit 56 (KY 139) in Caldwell County. Lane restrictions and similar crossover construction are expected to begin in the adjacent five-mile segment between mile points 50 to 55.4 later this year.
The entire project is expected to be completed by Nov. 15, 2027.
