Concord firefighter killed in McCracken County crash

McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) — A firefighter with the Concord Fire Department was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Friday, officials said.

Emergency crews were dispatched around 5:30 a.m. to the 9800 block of Blandville Road, where they found that firefighter Kameron Bristoe had died in the collision.

Another person involved in the crash was transported to an out-of-state hospital for treatment.

Department officials asked the public to keep Bristoe’s family — including his wife and three children — in their thoughts, along with the other victim and responding crews.

Agencies assisting at the scene included the West McCracken Fire Department, Lone Oak Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, McCracken County Rescue Squad, McCracken County Coroner’s Office, emergency management officials and the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
