Pershing VA Medical Center to mark 75 years of service to veterans

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo., (KBSI) — The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center will celebrate 75 years of providing health care to veterans with a ceremony May 15.
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the medical center, 1500 N. Westwood Blvd., and will include speakers and a proclamation from the City of Poplar Bluff.
Officials said the anniversary coincides with broader milestones for the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Veterans Health Administration.
Veterans, families, community members and media are invited to attend.
