CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) —Route 51 in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.

This section of roadway is located at the Route 51 and Route 91 intersection.

Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 12 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Northbound Interstate 55 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.

This section of roadway is located between mile markers 139.4 and 139.6.

Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

Starting Monday, May 11, a KYTC contractor is expected to implement a long-term lane restriction, with a 10.5-foot lane width, on U.S. 51 at mile point 4.4 in Carlisle County, for a bridge replacement project over Little Mayfield Creek.
• This is along U.S. 51 between Arlington and Bardwell.
• The work will be done in two phases.
• Expect one-lane, alternating traffic controlled by a temporary traffic signal, and a 10.5-ft lane width restriction throughout the project. Use caution.
• Expected to be completed by end of year
