WEST PLAINS, Mo., (KBSI) — Missouri Department of Conservation staff recently partnered with third grade students from Southfork Elementary and Downtown West Plains to create new pollinator plots in West Plains.
According to the department, the group transformed flower beds into pollinator habitats by planting 540 native plants representing 17 different species.
Officials said the project was partially funded through the Community Conservation Cost Share program.
