Mayfield woman injured in two-vehicle collision Thursday morning

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Mayfield, police said.
Mayfield police responded around 8:22 a.m. May 14 to the intersection of Commonwealth Drive and Barton Drive for a report of an injury collision.
Investigators said Keila Jackson, 45, of Mayfield, was turning left onto Barton Drive from Commonwealth Drive when her vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Jennifer Toney, 50, of Mayfield, who was stopped at a stop sign on Barton Drive.
Toney was taken by EMS to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Mayfield Police Department was assisted at the scene by Mayfield Fire/EMS, Burl’s Towing and Paul’s Towing.
Police also thanked nearby citizens who assisted both drivers before first responders arrived.
