Former state Rep. Fred Nesler remembered for service to Kentucky

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — The City of Mayfield is mourning the death of former Kentucky state Rep. Fred Nesler.

In a statement, city officials said Nesler would be remembered for his dedication to improving the lives of people across Kentucky.

Officials described Nesler as a longtime public servant whose impact was felt statewide, while noting his roots remained in Graves County.

The city referred to Nesler as “the Gentleman from Graves” and thanked him for his service to the community and commonwealth.
