Super Splash Park opens 10th Anniversary season May 23 in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) — The Super Splash Park in Carbondale will open for its 10th anniversary season on Saturday, May 23.
The park, located at 625 S. Lewis Lane will open at noon for Memorial Day weekend and debut a new Aqua Climbing Wall as part of the celebration.
Park officials say opening weekend will also include a visit from the Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center’s portable climbing wall from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 24, giving guests the opportunity to participate in both water-based and land-based climbing activities.
“This is a really special season for the Super Splash Park,” General Manager Jason Rose said. “We are celebrating 10 years of community support, summer memories, and families enjoying this facility.”
The park first opened in 2016 and has become a popular summer destination for families across Southern Illinois.
Super Splash Park will be open May 23-25 for opening weekend before closing May 26-29. The park will reopen May 30-31 and remain closed June 1-5 and June 8. Regular summer hours begin June 9, with the facility open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
To celebrate the anniversary season, the park will offer throwback 2016 admission prices on Sunday, May 24.
Season passes are available at the Lakeland Center and are not sold at the park.
Registration is also underway for swimming lessons, aquatic fitness programs, lap swimming, lazy river walking and the Cyclones Swim Team.
