Graves County Jail honors National Guard sergeant during Military Appreciation Month

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — The Graves County Jail and Restricted Custody Center is recognizing employees with military service during National Military Appreciation Month.
The jail highlighted Sgt. Mason Harris, who has served in the National Guard for 11 years, including deployments to Kuwait and Iraq.
Officials said Harris has worked at the Graves County Jail and Restricted Custody Center for three years.
According to the jail, Harris said military service has allowed him to build lifelong relationships and travel while gaining a greater appreciation for living in the United States.
Jailer Kelli Elliott thanked Harris for his service to the country and the Graves County community.
