High water recedes, Marshall County roadway reopens Tuesday morning

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1 said high water has receded from state highways across western Kentucky as of Tuesday morning.
In Marshall County, KY 1462, also known as Benton-Birmingham Road, has reopened between mile points 0 and 1.3. The section is located between KY 408/East 12th Street and KY 1477/Benton Briensburg Road.
Officials reported the roadway is now clear following earlier high-water concerns.
