River walking returns to Cape Splash for the summer

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) — Cape Splash Family Aquatic Center has launched its River Walking program for the summer season.

Officials said morning sessions will be held Monday through Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., while evening sessions will take place Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Participants can walk laps through the aquatic center’s river feature, with officials noting that 7.5 laps equal one mile.
