Land Between the Lakes to host National Trails Day cleanup event

GOLDEN POND, Ky., (KBSI) — Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area will mark National Trails Day with a large-scale cleanup effort on Saturday, June 6.

Volunteers are invited to participate in cleanup activities throughout the recreation area and can pick up adventure cleanup kits at designated locations.

Additional cleanup events will be hosted by community partners, including Black Flag Off-Road, Wood-N-Wave Bicycles and Watersports, Hiking with Shawn and LBL200.

Organizers encourage outdoor enthusiasts to take part in the event to help keep trails and recreation areas clean for future visitors.
