Cape Girardeau Corporate Games set for Sept. 13-25

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation has announced the return of Corporate Games, scheduled for Sept. 13-25.

The annual event promotes teamwork, healthy lifestyles and friendly competition among local businesses and employee-based organizations. This year’s theme is “Mission Possible.”

Teams will compete in a variety of events, including flag football, kickball, volleyball, softball, pickleball, soccer, golf, basketball, bowling, cornhole, trivia, dodgeball and more.

Businesses with 100 or more employees will compete in Division 1, while organizations with 26 to 99 employees will compete in Division 2. Smaller businesses may combine teams as long as the total number of employees remains under 100.

Registration costs $550 for Division 1 teams and $475 for Division 2 teams.

Awards will be presented to first-place teams in each event, and the overall division winners will receive the Corporate Cup. Opening and closing ceremonies are also planned.
