River Radio names Brian Chapman general sales manager

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — River Radio has named Brian Chapman as its new general sales manager, effective June 8.

Chapman joins the company’s leadership team after serving as an account executive for River Radio in Marion and Carbondale, Illinois. In that role, he focused on client relations, business development and customized advertising strategies.

As general sales manager, Chapman will oversee sales operations, revenue growth, client partnerships and strategic initiatives across River Radio’s radio stations and digital platforms.

“Brian brings an outstanding combination of leadership, sales expertise and passion for helping clients succeed,” General Manager Jack Swart said in a statement. “His background in training, recruiting, relationship-building and developing successful marketing strategies makes him a tremendous addition to our leadership team.”

Before joining River Radio, Chapman served as a national sales trainer and regional manager for PMA USA/Washington National Insurance Company. His professional background also includes experience in real estate, industrial sales, medical device sales and hospitality.
