Water line break may cause outages in Zeigler

ZEIGLER, Ill., (KBSI) — Residents in parts of Zeigler may experience a loss of water service after a water line was struck near the intersection of Coxspur and Poplar streets.

According to the City of Zeigler, crews are assessing the damage and working to determine the extent of the break.

Officials advised residents to be prepared for possible water outages until repairs are completed.

No timeline for restoration was immediately available.
