Record crowd attends 7th annual Blessing of the Jeeps at Bald Knob Cross

ALTO PASS, Ill., (KBSI) — A record crowd gathered at Bald Knob Cross of Peace on Saturday for the seventh annual Blessing of the Jeeps event.

Organizers estimated approximately 600 Jeeps and 2,000 guests attended the event, making it the largest Blessing of the Jeeps gathering since the event began.

The annual event brings Jeep owners and enthusiasts together for a day of fellowship, community and celebration at the southern Illinois landmark.

Officials with Bald Knob Cross of Peace thanked attendees for helping make this year’s event a success.
