Scott County dispatcher nominated for national Woman of the Year award

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Alexis Brockmire has been nominated for the 2026 911der Woman of the Year Award, a national honor recognizing women in emergency communications.
The award, presented by 911der Women Inc., celebrates outstanding women who demonstrate leadership, dedication and service within the emergency communications profession and their communities.
Brockmire’s nomination was announced by the Scott County Emergency Services Board, which praised her commitment to public safety and service to the community.
The award will be presented during a special recognition event at the National Emergency Number Association Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
Scott County officials congratulated Brockmire on the nomination and thanked her for her leadership and dedication to those she serves.
