Kellerman Foundation to host patriotic celebration honoring America’s 250th anniversary

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Kellerman Foundation for Historic Preservation is preparing for a community celebration marking the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
Organizers recently raised a 30-by-50-foot American flag at Kellerman Lorimier Hall in advance of the event, which is scheduled for Sunday.
The celebration will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kellerman Lorimier Hall, located at 401 Independence St.
Event organizers said the gathering will feature activities for all ages as the community comes together to commemorate America’s semi quincentennial.
The event is open to the public.
