SEMO Food Bank names two new members to board of directors

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri Food Bank has appointed two new members to its board of directors.

The organization announced Kailen Trowbridge of Procter & Gamble and Jim Gadberry of Nationwide Insurance have joined the board.

Trowbridge serves as site IRA leader and technician for Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau, where she oversees inventory and product reconciliation for donated, damaged and off-quality products and materials. She has also volunteered with Red Star Food Pantry and New Madrid Food Pantry.

Gadberry is vice president of personal lines auto claims for Nationwide. A Sikeston native, he earned degrees from Southeast Missouri State University and Indiana Wesleyan University and serves on the boards of the National Insurance Crime Bureau and the Certified Auto Parts Association.

“We are excited to welcome Kailen and Jim to our Board of Directors,” SEMO Food Bank President and CEO Joey Keys said in a statement. “Both understand the importance of strong community partnerships, and we look forward to their contributions as we continue working to ensure neighbors across Southeast Missouri have access to the food they need.”

SEMO Food Bank serves families, children, veterans and seniors through a network of 140 partner agencies and direct-service programs across a 16-county service area in southeast Missouri.
