MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Murray Police Department is asking residents to review home surveillance footage as officers investigate a series of vandalism incidents involving damaged mailboxes and vehicles.
Police said the incidents may have begun around June 18 and have continued in several areas of the city, particularly on the southwest side of Murray.
Investigators believe the person or people responsible may have been walking through neighborhoods at night carrying a baseball bat or another similar object.
Residents who have surveillance footage they believe may assist investigators are encouraged to upload it through the Murray Police Department’s online evidence portal.
The investigation is ongoing.
