Semi crash closes portion of Husbands Road in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – A portion of Husbands Road in McCracken County is expected to remain closed for two to three hours after a semi-truck struck a utility pole Tuesday.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said deputies are responding to a crash near the 4400 block of Husbands Road involving a semi-truck and a utility pole.
The roadway is closed between Krebbs Station Road and Geibe Road while utility crews make repairs to the damaged pole.
Authorities estimate the closure will last approximately two to three hours and are asking motorists to use an alternate route.
The sheriff’s office said it will provide an update once the roadway has reopened.
