Two men arrested in Murray sexual assault investigation

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Two western Kentucky men have been arrested following a sexual assault investigation by the Murray Police Department.

According to police, the investigation led to the arrests of Cary Bogard, 57, of Hazel, Kentucky, and James Underhill, 56, of Murray.

Bogard is charged with first-degree rape. Underhill is charged with complicity to first-degree rape.

Police did not release additional details about the alleged assault.

The charges are allegations, and both men are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
