Paducah man killed in single-vehicle crash in McCracken County

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — An 82-year-old Paducah man died after a single-vehicle crash Friday in McCracken County.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around noon Friday to the area of John L. Puryear Drive and Estes Lane for a reported crash.
The preliminary investigation found Frank Colapinto was driving a 2017 Nissan Frontier north on John L. Puryear Drive when the vehicle left the roadway, traveled onto the east shoulder and struck a tree head-on.
Colapinto was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
Mercy Regional Ambulance, the Reidland-Farley Fire Department, Paducah Fire Department, Hendron Fire Department, Jason’s Collision Center and the McCracken County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.
