Police searching for armed suspect in South Fulton motel shooting

SOUTH FULTON, Tenn. (KBSI) — Police are searching for a man they say was involved in a shooting Tuesday evening at a motel on West State Line.

The South Fulton Police Department identified the suspect as Derek Shea Harris.

Police said Harris was involved in the shooting July 7 and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Harris’ whereabouts is asked to contact the South Fulton Police Department at 731-479-1311.

The investigation remains ongoing.
